Using Curves to create strength

Our design consisted of aesthetically appealing curves which by themselves would not of held a lot of weight as they would just keep expanding.
To stop them from expanding, we placed circles within the design so once it got to a certain point, it wouldn't be able to expand and go any lower. The design held a lot of weight.

This second picture is an example of when the design was at its limit of expansion.
