Final Prototype
MY STOOL!
Made out of 2mm Aluminium, powder coated in white and finished with 8mm nuts and bolts. I also created spacers with 10cm wooden feet and bearing spacers from a skateboard.

1:2 CARD MODEL
The thing i like about this design is i can have the aluminium (2-3mm) laser cut and then experiment with what i will use to hold the legs together (either use spacing or not) and also what screws will look good.
I will also need to look at what i will put at the bottom of the legs.
It will be one part cut three times to make this stool as each side is exactly the same.

I tested the folds and design with paper first to make sure the flat pack plan would work as i had hoped.....
